Honda Brio Automatic

The availability of an automatic gearbox equipped variant has just made Honda's city run about all the more suited to the cut and thrust of the urban grind. The gearbox in question is the five-speed torque converter unit from the City, albeit with different gear ratios. What's nice is that the gearbox works well to complement the 1.2-litre engine's peppy nature and only feels a tad slow on occasions when you stomp on the throttle. Sure, fuel efficiency will be marginally down on the manual car's but that's fair price to pay for the clutch less convenience of the Brio Automatic. The Brio will get another shot in the arm with the launch of a 1.5 liter diesel equipped variant in 2014.
