Chevrolet Enjoy

It is evident that people in India like their MPV's but just because the car can seat six or seven, it is not enough to make it a runaway success. While cars like Toyota Innova and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga are  ruling the roost, the others have not really caught on as well.Which makes it clear that just space is not enough and people are looking for complete package when it comes to MPV's.So how does the Enjoy fair amongst its fairly stiff competition ? The first time you set your eyes on Enjoy, the big MPV excudes quite a pleasant aura. The mono-box design is devoid of any fancy creases. The front has a pretty European feel to it with nice swoopy tear-drop headlights linked together by a twin slatted chrome grille with the big towie taking center place.

The Smartech 1.3 litre unit in comparison to the petrol puts out 77.5 PS@4000rpm but more importantly a maximum torque of 188Nm at a lowly 1750rpm. The Enjoy offers decent looks, very good space and seating and a satisfactory amount of kit as well with top-end variants boasting driver-passenger airbags, ABS along with EBD.

Audi S7

When it comes to performance on the Audi S7, it's easy to get caught up in the prodigious power and breathtaking speed. Yet even with 420 twin-turbocharged horsepower and 406 pounds-feet of torque on tap, the engineering greatness extends far beyond the engine. The S7 rides on a sport-tuned Audi adaptive air suspension that's fittingly firm, yet exhibits the natural resilience inherent to air springs, along with the smarts to automatically lower itself for better high-speed stability. The Audi quattro all-wheel drive system features a rear power bias for a purer driving feel, plus a torque-vectoring rear sport differential to enhance precision in cornering. Quick, vivid steering helps infuse every turn with excitement, and with its dual-clutch S tronic transmission, the S7 makes rapid-fire shifts through its seven speeds — a key reason its performance seems to surpass expectations.

In the S7, performance and safety go hand in hand. Its four passengers receive protection from eight standard airbags, including driver and front passenger dual-stage airbags, thorax side airbags, knee-level airbags, and Sideguard head curtain airbags (plus available rear thorax side airbags). Electronic Stability Control helps secure the car's intended path at all times, and in the event of a collision, intelligent sensors automatically unlock the doors, switch on interior and hazard lights, and cut off fuel flow to the engine.

Hyundai i40 Wagon

Highlights:

  • Best-in-class for fuel economy, the NU 2.0 gasoline engine's Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (DCVVT) and Variable induction System features that ensure low emissions combined with superior performance
  • Electronic Stability Control (ESC) continuously monitors vehicle directional stability and tyre traction. If the system senses the car is about to skid and risks spinning out of control, ESC automatically intervenes, applying the brakes to individual wheels to prevent loss of directional control.
  • Stay in line with Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) is designed primarily to alert drivers who are dozing off at the wheel. Should the vehicle depart the driving lane without signalling in advance, LKAS recognizes and responds either by issuing an audible alert warning to the driver or by actively correcting the steering direction.
  • Upto nine airbags are available, including individual driver and passenger airbags, two side curtain airbags and four thorax airbags at the outboard seating positions plus a new airbag offering driver knee protection, i40 takes every possible precaution to reduce the risk of serious injury.
